The Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development through the Department of Animal Husbandry Services conducted a 2-Day Stakeholders engagement on the “Use of Cottage Feedmill for processing of Alternative Animal Feed Ingredients.

Subsequently, the Department of Animal Production and Husbandry Services through the Animal Feed and Feed Security Division handed over “Cottage Feedmill” to Livestock farmers and other stakeholders on the 11^th November, 2020 at Igbariam, Anambra State.

The objectives of this program is geared towards;

Providing cheap and accessible feedmill to surrounding communities.

Reducing the impact of high cost of feed production.

To help caution the effect of feed scarcity.
