The Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (FMARD) in collaboration with Feed Industry Practitioners Association of Nigeria (FIPAN) and SAHEL CONSULTING organized a three-day National Animal Feed Summit for the first time in Nigeria, from 23rd to 25th September, 2021.

The Summit which has its theme ‘Developing a Roadmap to a Sustainable Animal Feeding in Nigeria’ looked at the current status of animal feeding in Nigeria

Participants were drawn from a wide range of stakeholders across the country including MDAs, Research Institutes, Professional Bodies, Institutions, Industry Practitioners, Policy Makers, Law Makers and Development Partners to brainstorm on key thematic areas that can be enshrined in the proposed National Animal Feed Policy draft document.
